It’s been a blast we have made taboule, cookies, pasta salad, regular salad, flat bread and banana bread. Dad had the RV repaired (replaced the radiator$$$) and today we cleaned it (again LOL) and are preparing it for our trip! We will head for FLORIDA! YAY! And see a shuttle launch! Its at midnight and we will be really close! Then we will go to see the Ezzo’s (the head of the parenting ministry GFI) then to D.C.!
That’s all for now~ oh yeah there is a new video! Check it out!

1,400 words! phew!

Hi everyone! We have had a really, really great time and have done so much!

I will get you up to date starting August 9th through the 2nd! !
We (Dad Joseph & I) left Snow Mountain Ranch to go to a father son retreat at Crooked Creek Ranch. It was really beautiful! The event was hosted by Vision Forum (
www.visionforum.com ) we heard from Douglas Phillips, Geoff Bodkin, Little Bear Wheeler and an Air Force pilot, the messages were really great! We mostly got settled in went to dinner and then a meeting that was basically it!
We learned about George Washington, character and why men must stand up for what is right.
We had a lot of great lessons and food! The last day we had a huge game of tug-o-war!

13th
Back at the YMCA camp dad and JoJo and I woke up early and went on a 7 mile hike to a water fall. The hike was really Loooooooong and fun! Then we just relaxed and napped!

14th thru the 16th
Daddy and I went on a hike to an old gold mine, had Bible study and hiked back. We unhooked the RV and drove to the amazing craft room that they have. I made a walking stick and tie-dye shirts, the little ones colored with fabric markers on little bears (and their shirts too :) Joseph made a cool boat and some jewelry for mom. Then we drove to Grand Lake, and sat in the rain for three days…. It was actually fun to do nothing! And not have any internet or cell phone service!!

17th
We unhooked (in the rain) and because of 15 inches of SNOW we had to take a 6 hour detour instead of an hour and a half drive. The drive was amazingly beautiful. There was a river that ran by the road the whole way. We finally arrived at a KOA camp in Estes Park spent the night but the next day chose to go to a different RV park so we could set a tent up and have a campfire.

18th
At the new RV Park we waited for Gaumi and Poppa to arrive. Then we went to a restaurant and enjoyed some great food and conversation :) My favorite part was the “Hermit of Cloudy Ridge” story (told by Poppa) ‘round the camp fire with s’ mores!

19th
We went to the camp that Poppa was a counselor at (Camp Cheley) it was a beautiful camp full of precious memories, We went to the outdoor Chapel that overlooks a beautiful lake and mountains. Poppa brought his saxophone and played “He Walks With Me”. That was really great. After that We went to a small store and bought some things for a picnic. We drove over Trail Ridge RD, or route 34, the highest, continuous paved highway in the world at an elevation of almost 13,000 feet! Whew! The view was amazing we were driving above the Timberline and by snow!!
That night we enjoyed dinner at a really great restaurant, then back to the RV for another campfire and story.

20th
This morning Joseph and Dad went to go fishing at Camp Cheley, It was a privately owned, stocked pond. Dad could only catch one fish because Joseph was catching them so fast, Joseph caught eight 11 inch trout! Once they came back we left to go horseback riding, (mom and the babies had the day off) Let me tell you, Colorado horseback riding is very different than Texas horseback riding. We went through creeks and tight twisty-tourney areas up, down an around! VERY FUN!
Any way that night we, for some reason, had a really hard time starting a fire to cook the fish. Just the time we gave up it started…. Hmmmm…. But needless to say we cooked the best trout and veggies we had ever had! Tonight we decided to have everything indoors. We watched a hilarious Veggie Tails and then some A LOT of pictures.

21st
This morning we woke up late, so Poppa took Joseph to an old Indian Museum then we went to Bear Lake. We took a great picture on the very same rock that Poppa’s parents took their picture on. It was a really beautiful day! We had to hustle back to return the rent car.

22nd
We had breakfast, packed up and went to downtown Estes Park to look at all the neat shops, and eat yummy taffy! We went to a restaurant to celebrate Poppas b-day; it was super special we had delicious walnut pancakes and had him read the book called “If you give a Moose a Muffin” :) It’s time to leave to go to head for Family Camp now! But before we do Joseph and I went to a little glass blowing shop. The furnaces are amazingly hot, 2022 degrees! Wow that’s HOT. The people that work there gave us little glass stars!

23rd
Mount Rushmore here we come! We drove through Wyoming and South Dakota. When we were driving we stayed at an RV park just outside SD it was so clear we could see so many stars! Wow!

24th
Then we drove through Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. Because we aren’t on a schedule we decided to stop at a cave. It was really neat! There were formations that aren’t in almost any other caves! Now in Mount Rushmore we had an amazing dinner at the monument I loved that!

25th Now because we are at the top of America we decided to see Uncle Jeff in Wisconsin!

26th
We drove hard all day to Uncle Jeff’s and Aunt Jones! We arrive some time that evening and had really great BBQ!

27th
Uncle Jeff and a couple of his relatives bought a beautiful cabin near in the Chequamegon National Forest. They have 4 deer stands. It’s really nice!

28th
We said good bye and hit the road for Family Camp. We spent the night just a few hours away so we could be there early on Friday but we forgot the time zone change so we were LATE….. ;)

29th
Arrived!! Woohoo! Yahoo! Yippee! We set up (they actually have full hook-ups) cleaned up and left for dinner! ‘Because I am 14 I get to go to the main lodge and play late night games every night. This was my first time it was so fun!

30th
One thing we all appreciate about Family Camp is the schedule; its perfect, not to pack plenty of free time for naps or games. It is really well done! At the camp they have a blob, water slide, paddle boats, canoes, fishing, tetherball, basketball, and soccer field, zip line and volley ball!
We played Joey Ball that evening. It’s an outrageously fun game! Modified so any one can play with minimal rules and only 1 base!

31st
This year I got to help with the 5-7 year olds it was a blast we played drip, drip, DROP (like duck, duck, goose) had a skit that I got to participate in, and silly songs. Daddy and Joseph like to fish so we went to the paddle boats, I was fishing guide and because I am so good they caught 3 fish! Oh yea I even kept us in the shade! I know that Timothy Christianna Elaina and Victoria LOVED all the girls who played with them and baby-sat them, more attention in 3 days than what they would get in a week! (And you know I give them LOTS of attention!) That night we had a fun time at the talent show. The families are so creative. One family did a skit about NOT having a skit!!! So funny! We have to leave tomorrow. Oops I almost forgot, the little ones really wanted to get on a boat, so Dad and I took them on paddle boat rides! They were so thrilled!

1st
We are sadly coming to the end of our trip, oh well every good thing must come to an end :)
We just drove straight home basically!

2nd
We drove straight home arrived and unpacked our house to our house!
(Wow! This document is 1,400 words)

Hi Everyone!

Howdy everyone!
I really think its easer for you and me if I blog every two days, but I got a little lazy… so this will be quite a few post in one!
August 1st
Ok we packed some stuff, then we packed some stuff then we packed some stuff ok, ok you get the idea, we packed stuff! (in an organized fashion, obviously!) Then departed around 4:30 pm to Poppa and Gaumi’s house to see our great grandma Dino and their friend David (an amazingly amazing pianist/songwriter) http://www.pianoshowman.com/ we had a great dinner and learned a little about songwriting. Then spent the night in their drive way.

August 2nd
After honey toast and coffee we hit the road for Amarillo. We didn't really do much that day just hang out and play games. I also started a music video slide show of our best 2007 pictures I hope to get it on the blog soon! But that’s basically it! We arrived at Amarillo!

August 3rd
We drove to Albuquerque from Amarillo. Checked in an RV Park and headed for Sandia Peak. Not too fast, either, for we had a slight problem….over heating . So we limped up the mountain and after that we had a great time at a really scrumptious Mexican food place. We enjoyed a beautiful ride on a tram-way at 700 feet above the ground! (it is the longest tram-way in the world!) Once we were at the top we had an amazing view! We left a memento there ( : Christianna lost a shoe! As we rode down on the tram I took an amazing lightning picture!
August 4th
That morning we searched for a mechanic and we were extremely blessed. He was really great! He worked on the motor coach the whole day but it still was not fixed, GRRRR. So another night in Albuquerque! Back to the RV park to play and swim. :)
August 5th
Happy Birthday daddy! We went back to the repair shop and left at 10:00 AM. phew! The only things that were wrong were: the fan clutch, bad thermostat, too little radiator fluid, and a radiator that had not been cleaned for 65,000 miles hmmmm LOL! Turned out our BIG BABY needed a BIG BURP – the radiator had an air bubble which kept the RV from staying cool. We headed for the Petrified Forest National Park. That was really amazing! That night, stayed about 5 miles away from the Grand Canyon
August 6th
Went to the Grand Canyon, WOW, it was… well in a word GRAND! Then drove and drove to Pueblo, Colorado, about 650 miles! Loooooooong day for dad! We’ll never forget dad’s marathon drive.
August 7th
Visit to the Colorado Springs co-op! We had a great time dividing produce then left at 2:00 PM. We went to a Wal-Mart, bought some necessary items and spent the night at… Well let me state this first, RV parks have their ups and downs. This particular park, to say the least “was not five stars” J
August 8th
On the road for Winter Park! The drive from Denver to Winter Park was amazing! We were so high we could see the tree line and some snow! Really gorgeous! On the way up, the RV overheated, we prayed and the engine hummed all the way up the mountain. Now at the top it should only take us 30 miles or 15 seconds for our descent! I am joking! Around 3:30 we arrived at Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA. It is a really nice place. They have a huge craft center, mountain bike rentals, zip line, putt-putt and a library. Any wayz we I hooked us up to power, sewage and water. Time for a really fun camp fire and nighty-night!
I will have more post today we are going to go to a different RV park. Once we arrive then I will add what we did the 9th through the 15th! Note: I have a 25 minute music video of 2007 photos it is really good but I have not had fast enough internet to upload it yet. It should be on the blog and YouTube soon! I will be working on an adoption video, a video of all of our RV trip pictures, the trip we took to Kentucky during July and of the Father Son Retreat (http://www.visionforum.com/) that dad, JoJo and I went to!

The Browns

15th thru the 16th
Hi! This post is a little late as internet access is now a luxury!
On the last post, the 15th was a little bit off, that was actually Memphis Arkansas not the Memphis in Tennessee. And we have stayed at one more RV park. The reason why that post is off is that it was written by me on the 14th! (Me overachieving)
Any wayz we stayed at the RV Park in Memphis Arkansas which was sweet! They had a pool and this GIANT chess board with pieces bigger than la-la (Elaina’s nickname). We (jojo and I) also got to ride these awesome bike things that they had at the camp! They were low to the ground, like a chair and super fun to ride! Then at 12:30pm then we packed up camp and hit the road! (Personally can’t wait till we get somewhere and stay there for a loooooong while) then headed to Nashville where saw General Andrew Jacksons Plantation it was really beautiful! That night we played put-put golf and I won by two puts! After that we swam and played at the playground with the babies AND WE WENT TO BED. A long day!

The 17th
Our family is in Nashville! We went to a huge mall ( Opry mall) and had lots of fun there. And have now arrived at our destination Louisville Kentucky.

The 18th
A mostly uneventful day. I baby sat the kiddos while mom and dad were at the conference.

The 19th
Another mostly uneventful day. But this morning our friend Russell made this fabulous, amazing, spectacular, zingy Vietnamese style espresso iced coffee! It was sooooo good! And while mom and dad where in the conference I made delicious chocolate chip cookies for them and cleaned the RV! Then that evening we had a cook out and made with a water hose a water slide!

20th
We are now ending our trip, we are on our way to Memphis to spend the night then head home.
Fun facts:

it took me 10 miles to wash dishes
I have taken a shower at 70 MPH

We have hit the highest gas price 4.25 (this is not really a “fun” fact just a fact).

The little ones nap for 180 miles

Midnight Departure

Midnight, Saturday June 12th,
The bus is loaded, kids are securely buckled, 1 ½ dump-truck loads of stuff, a full tank of gas (at 3.98 a gallon) and we are off! Our first stop was a restaurant where we bought some very healthy food… then a truck stop and then we caught a few z’s ;).

The 13th
The next day we had a fun and fabulous drive then did a health demo in Ada Oklahoma. We then stayed at a nice RV park, fished, washed the dogs (yes we took them both) and I reluctantly emptied the grey and black holding tanks………

The 14th
We have enjoyed a gorgeous scenic drive to a beautiful state park in Arkansas, where we went and swam at the beach, fished, and hiked! (We wish you were here!) Then wound down over pop-corn, root beer and Over the Hedge. The only problem we have had Is that the master bedroom wont cool, but then I found the problem, the room was on heat, which also explains why the LP level was depleting…

The 15th
We are on our way to Memphis Tennessee to stay the night at a KOA camp ground then to the final destination Kentucky for our conference! (Ya know it is kind of fun to be in the outdoor woods and still have running water, AC, TV and laptops!)
